Christchurch Cathedral Choristers Endowment Fund

The Wayne Francis Charitable Trust contributes to the ChristChurch Cathedral Choristers Endowment Fund, which offers young choristers accepted into the Cathedral Choir scholarships to Cathedral Grammar School. The Trust’s funding covers one full scholarship each year, which is specifically awarded to a chorister from a low socio-economic background. The recipient receives a free education for up to five years. Cathedral Grammar was founded in 1881 to educate the Cathedral choristers, and is one of only two choir schools outside the UK. |
