Funding
We adopt a proactive approach to funding, and do not accept solicited funding applications. The operations of the Trust are divided into distinct funding practices.
Funding Categories
1.6. The operations of the Trust can be viewed as several distinct funding practices.
- Scholarship – Direct funding of individuals. May relate to education, sporting, entrepreneurial, environmental or community endeavour. May apply to young people or to any person where their impact would support the Trust’s over-arching objective
- Portfolio – Direct funding, on a long-term basis, for the delivery of services to young people where those services meet the over-arching objective of the Trust.
- Capacity Building – Prudent investment in organisational and sector capacity.
- Advocacy – Acting as agents for change at a regulatory or policy level, where the change will make progress towards the Trust’s overarching objective.
