“Youth is a fantastic stage of life, and youth workers can be hugely influential during this time,” Duane says. “I saw it as an opportunity to make a real difference.”
Duane enjoys working with “mainstream youth” – young people of all ages and backgrounds – and believes the community has a big part to play in ensuring all young people grow into well-rounded adults.
On the WFCT
Duane brings the ground perspectives of mainstream youth, the voluntary youth work sector, secondary schools, and faith-based organisations to the Wayne Francis Charitable Trust, and looks forward to collaborating with the YAG members on youth matters.
